Pastoral Care and Wellbeing
Your child is our priority and everyone at the School places the utmost importance on pupils' well-being and happiness.

We want all our pupils to flourish, so the help and support we give is available 24/7, and is tailored to individual needs - this is what we refer to as 'pastoral care'. It is central to all that we do.

Links with parents are seen as an indispensable part of the support and development of boarders. All pupils are encouraged to make contact on a regular basis and to share their experiences of school life with their parents, families and friends. Parents are also welcome to come and visit their children and permission for short exeats (over a weekend or during half term holiday) can be given. Parents may also contact the Housemaster or their child’s personal tutor by email or phone to discuss any individual matters, as required.
Contact with Parents
The guiding values of the boarding community are those of fair-mindedness, hard work, enjoyment and treating others with proper respect and consideration. We also attach great importance to manners, good discipline, service to others and caring for the House and the fabric of the building. We value both effort and achievement and encourage every positive contribution that a student makes to the life of the boarding community.

What Our Students Say...

"The school feels very homely, all the other students are nice, and the teachers are accommodating. There is always someone that you can find to talk to. It's never been difficult to adjust here and if people are homesick, they feel very taken care of - like family even if they are far away from home. I must say that the accommodations is also beautiful as is the food. "

Imogen (UK)

MCS is a very homely school.

"As a competitive skier I think MCS is ideal. It's really nice because it's in the Alps and very close to the ski slopes. As I'm in and out all the time competing, I can generally get on the slopes in around 30 mins or less which is much better than a city campus. The School itself is very good, and all the lessons are great. When I'm not here I miss it quite a bit, and I like the that lessons are long so when I am here, I can enjoy them. I can also catch up in the evening."

Robbie (Scotland)

Perfect for any level of skier.

"I feel that there is a great environment for learning here because all teachers put in a great effort. They have lots of patience for all students and take time to adapt to all levels. The sizes of the classes help with this.
Teachers are very creative in how they design different activities in class for us to better understand the subject."

Ines (Mexico)

The teachers are so creative.
